Wedding Ring Making Workshop

Couples Wedding Ring Making Experience

-

A ring making experience with me offers a wonderful opportunity to handcraft your very own rings for your special day. You will be guided through the whole process from concept to completion and shown traditional jewellery making techniques to create your rings from the raw materials of your choice. You can choose to make each other’s rings or your own on the day.

The experience runs from 10 – 4pm and is held at Hello Halfpenny’s jewellery studio in Halifax on a pre-arranged suitable date.

After the class your rings will be sent to the London Assay Office for hallmarking which takes around 1.5 weeks when they will sent back to you ready for your big day!

Please contact me for information on the class prices for weekdays and weekends.

What is included in the class price:

  • Exclusive use of the Hello Halfpenny studio for the two of you.

  • Expert tuition from Zoe who has over 10 years experience of jewellery making and teaching.

  • All materials and use of tools excluding the metal cost for your rings

  • Pre-consultation for sizing and your choice of ring style either in person or over zoom (whichever is most suitable for you)

  • Hallmarking by the London Assay office of your completed rings

The price of the raw materials for your rings are in addition to the class costs and these will be sent to your for approval once styles have been agreed at the initial consultation.

Prior to the class I will need to know your ring size, the width and shape of the ring you would like. This will all be discussed at the pre-consultation. This helps me to order the correct raw materials for your ring class and I can give you an accurate current price for your metal. Rings can be made with a curve or twist to fit next to existing engagement rings and can be finished with a variety of techniques including hammering and brushed.

Materials available: Silver, Yellow gold, White gold, Rose Gold

The price of raw materials fluctuates daily so please contact for a current price.

This class is absolutely suitable for beginners! I have plenty of experience teaching people who have never worked with metal before and it is something I am extremely passionate about. Please don’t be worried about having a go!
